No, not really. My family hired him! Actually, I was sort of out in the jungle when they hired him, so I don't even really know the details myself.

Hmmm...are you the daughter of a president or something? He says it's classified, and him knowing something I don't is really annoying.

No... Actually, I don't think we've ever been in real danger either. Not in the city! Really, I think Robert is more of a driver than anything else, but he takes all of it very seriously.

But why do you have a driver? If you're not a celebrity...is your old man a politician or somethin'? I mean, don't most people not have drivers?

...W-wait, what did ya say about the jungle again...?

Oh! Well I went to live in the jungle when I was younger. We didn't really have cars there, so I never learned how to drive one. But... I guess it's just that my family is kind of wealthy or something, so that's why we have stuff like that.

It was totally a different story in the jungle though!

[Kinda wealthy. That explains that at least. She won't ask anymore about it.]

He's not really that scary once you get used to him! And since he knows you're part of my family now, it will be his job to protect you too.

I tried tellin' him that he should try being a bit more trustworthy of people, but he called me naive! Can you believe it? I was just...he's impossible!

[She huffs. Even if this is over the phone, it's too weird. She wants to like him, really. He's been helpful. Almost nice once or twice.]

I don't think he'd ever protect me, even if I wanted it. He's pretty focused on you. You guys...don't have a history or anythin', do ya?

A history? No, nothing like that! In fact, I had only just returned home before I came here. So we had only just met. And really, even then, he spent more time with my son than with me.

I...see. Geez, that's even crazier! Why would someone like him go crazy protecting someone he's just met? And he's causin' you a lot of problems, too, right?

[ She starts out cheerful enough, but slowly her tone turns just a little somber. ]

I guess I didn't mention him because he isn't here too. I heard that no time passes back where we're from originally, but I'm still a little worried. I can't just run home and check on him from here.

...I had no idea.

[Now she feels bad. She never stopped to think about how hard it must be for other people to be away from their families. She's glad she's only calling. She looks miserable right now.]
